TD Friends of the Environment – Grant Received!
Thank you to TD Friends of the Environment Foundation. We have received a grant of $7,975.00 for our project called, "Regenerating a 100-Year-Old Community Garden".
Many thanks to The Winnipeg Foundation for the grant which was awarded enabling us to update and improve the gardening activities at the Silver Avenue Gardens. This will include improvements to our irrigation system and possibly a lawn mower and a much needed face lift to the property. The gardens are maintained and governed by SJHS volunteer board and garden committee.
