About Us

The FLOWER ARRANGING GROUP meets at 7:30 pm the first Wednesday in the months of September, October, November, December, April, May, and June at the office of Adrien Sala, MLA.

2025-2026 Occasions

SEPTEMBER

We had a nice evening to start off our Flower Arranging season. The demo was done by Pat and titled "Thanksgiving", a round arrangement in a gourd or gourd like container incorporating grasses, seed heads and pods into the design.

The Workshop was "Fresh Salad" and a fine effort was made using our garden greens, foliage of various colors and textures, seedheads, berries and nuts.

OCTOBER

Such a beautiful evening to get together and flower arrange. Tonight's Demo was Birthday, a fan shape arrangement incorporating small balloons and/or streamers (trimmed). Great job demonstrating Pam.

Our Workshop was Thanksgiving, a round arrangement in a gourd or gourd like container. Incorporating grasses, seed heads and pods into your design. We will have some pretty nice additions to our Thanksgiving table.

NOVEMBER

A good night to be out and about, without a snowflake in sight.

Tonight's Demo was called Christmas, a door swag using all things Christmassy demonstrated by Bev.

Our Workshop was called Birthday, a fan shape arrangement incorporating small balloons and/or streamers (Trimmed).

DECEMBER

Our Demo was Easter, a low horizontal arrangement incorporating eggs (real or fabricated). It was hard to see an easter arrangement in my house this time of year so I pulled out the eggs and added red bells, apples and a few pinecones after I got it home. Now it is a Christmas arrangement.

The Workshop was Christmas, a door swag using all things Christmassy.

APRIL

Our Demo tonight was Wedding ... a duo arrangement where containers are identical or somewhat related to each other. Done by Pat using wedding white flowers.

Our workshop was Easter ... a low horizontal arrangement incorporating eggs (real or fabricated). We are all going home with a lovely arrangement for our Easter table.
